Studies show that easy access to loaded handguns in homes are a major cause of accidental shootings of children. While there may be no way to guarantee safety, handgun owners can take steps to help prevent many accidental shootings.

The Firearms Training Academy’s Handgun safety course is intensive and well prepared training intended for professional and non-professionals that want to learn about the use of a gun for self-defense and safety at home or at the office. This practical handgun safety course will introduce the participants to the fundamentals of firearms safety, along with the skills necessary to properly handle a revolver or semiautomatic handgun.
